If I were a Magician

Everything in this world can happen by a trick or illusion, right? How easy it is, if I can do anything by a clap. I begin to interest about magic when I was 15 years old. I like to watch the TV program which show a magic. One person who makes me interest is Pak Tarno. He is the one of old magician from Indonesia. He is well known as a magician who always say “bim salabim jadi apa prok prok prok”. I know him from his first perform in TV program of The Master Season 3. He can make the audience interest by his perform. One thing that I like is… when he plays it and then there is a bird appear from his hat. It makes me to say “waw”.

I like a trick of magic, it is not only from Pak Tarno but also from another magician like Dady Corbuzier and etc. Sometimes, I want to study about magic, but it is never happen because a lot of task that should I do. Until now, I cannot do a simple trick of magic, but one day in the future, I have a little dream to study about magic. Magic is not about mystical. If you think study about magic is a fool for one’s pains, it is completely wrong, although magic just a game, but you will find that… all the things in this world is guileful. I imagine if I were a magician, I would tour and perform a trick of magic in front of audience until they give me applause.

Now, the problem is… Is it okay in Islam? My friend says to me… you can study anything, except magic. She believes that magic is a one thing that prohibited in Islam. It belongs to “syrik”. One another friend says to me that… it is okay, because magic just a game and it depends on our confidence. She also says that, “maybe” it can be a “syrik” if it involves the part of body, like Limbad do, he is the one of magician in The Master Season 3 who use the power of his body to show his magic.

Yet, trick of magic that I want to study is not about that, I just want to know the trick of magic just like Pak Tarno do. If I browse in internet, there are a lot of opinion that say… Magic is forbidden or it’s fine to do a trick of magic. Yet, I cannot judge all that opinions directly, I think, one of my friend is true... “It depends on our confidence”.

Study about magic just a little part of my dream after I reach all of my biggest dream in my life. Become a magician just the last thing that I want to do. It belongs to the last but not the list. Maybe, it can be happen or not, I still don’t know. One important thing is… it just about hidden dream.
